Introducing the new, smaller, lighter weight HFL for emergency medical services, the HFL-500-E! All the proven features of its big brother the HFL-550-E in a smaller and lighter weight version specifically designed for ambulances and smaller apparatus. This purpose-built tool was designed in partnership with emergency services personnel for emergency services personnel, to address the growing problem of staff injuries related to lifting people from the floor and/or transporting patients when needed.
HFL-500-E has been designed to meet the rigorous requirements of public emergency services agencies. Weighing in at only 50 lbs.,this lift is designed be deployed on ambulances and other EMS vehicles to allow the safe lifting and transport of patients weighing up to 500 lbs. from the ground or floor without causing injury to either emergency services personnel or the fallen person. Mobile or immobile persons can be lifted from the ground or floor to stand a walk away or be transferred directly to a wheelchair or gurney.

This purpose-built appliance lifts individuals up to 500 pounds from the floor or ground without the risk of injury the responders or the patient.
The HFL-500-E lifts individuals who may be mobile once up from the floor or those injured who may be on a backboard requiring transport to a hospital.
The 500-E is also designed to provide transport of its patient and is equipped with waist and chest belt assemblies for increased patient safety during transport.
The three-way beveled seat access allows for a lift-free mount. The 21” height provides a comfortable field chair allowing low-energy standing as well as the option for recovery time or further triage treatment.
The HFL-500-E folds to a minimal footprint, (8” x 20”), allowing it to stow on virtually all EMS vehicles and is an essential safety upgrade to any EMS response apparatus.
A stainless steel seat and powder-coated-heavy-duty construction ensure years of service. The unit is provided with a lithium-Ion battery system. Additional battery pack are available, allowing for fully charged ‘hot spares’ to be maintained.
