The SST is a mechanical patient lift developed for professional health care providers designed to safely raise and lower standing patients up to 500 lbs (227 kg) from the floor to a height up to 14”/35.56 cm for patient access to legacy high beds, radiology-imaging and procedure platforms.
Standing-patient lifting can now be mechanically accomplished without patient and provider contact, virtually eliminating the safety risks associated with getting patients up onto the necessary facilities. Ambulatory patients of all shapes, sizes, injured, ill or otherwise mobility-limited, can effortlessly be raised to a height that their body requires to safely transfer to a destination.
A stress-free, physical and psychological-safe option is a great way to start any exam, procedure or a simple return to a high bed. Mobility-challenged patients will have a much more comfortable experience if their visit doesn’t start off with a struggle just to get onto the exam/procedure platform/bed.
